Place Value
This website allows students to explore numbers and understand the make up of numbers. I love the catch ten game and your child will too. Each of the three activities listed help your child practice their skills on place value. Learning can be a fun game too!
IXL - Students can login on this website to their own practice page of first and second grade skills that are aligned to the state Common Core Standard. As the teacher, I can view each student and their progress in mastering each standard for their grade level. Students love this website! You can access this website on a computer or ipad.
Sumdog - Fun math games where students can practice addition, subtraction, and smallest/largest. As they play, the games constantly assess them and then it re-evaluates the questions according to the skills they need more practice with. Students will need their login and password to play. I also have my own login where I can see the skills your child has mastered and the areas they need more practice. If your child doesn't login, I cannot see their data.
