Hi, my name is Kara-Ann Muller. This is my sixth year teaching at Visitation and I've taught first and second grade. I am thrilled to back again and doing what I love....teaching! Last school year in April, my husband and I welcomed a handsome little boy named Hudson. He has been the biggest joy of our lives to date. We are having so much fun being first time parents. We also just celebrated our first year anniversary this summer on July 4th.
I was born in Redmond, Washington and raised in Shelton, WA. In 2010, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education k-8, and a minor in Literacy from Central Washington University.
It is important to me that my students know I will always care about their education and what is going on in their lives as they move on from grade to grade.
If you were to walk past the first and second grade classroom, you would see students working together in groups, singing educational songs, hands-on learning, living out our Catholic Faith, and learning in all academic fields. Our classroom is bright with bulletin boards, welcoming, stimulating, energized, and a room of students building friendships.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to sing, line dance, snow and water ski, read, bake, and watch my favorite shows (Survivor, Game of Thrones, Bachelor, and General Hospital).
I am excited about this school year and thankful for the opportunity to teach first and second grade at Visitation Catholic STEM Academy.
